April 5, 2002 - NYC,NY

Christie and Christina arrive in New York City. They meet at their hotel and get ready to go to Mid Town to see Mollie. Christie, Christina, and Kim jump in a cab and head to the office.

3:00 PM Midtown

They meet with Mollie at MBJ. They talk about the show that is coming up that night and what they have planned for before and after the show. After visiting with Mollie they head back downtown to meet up with
their other friends.

6:00 PM Down Town

Christie, Christina, and Kim are ready to go and eat when they get an urgent phone call from Mollie. "We need rubberbands for the Joe posters that are being sold tonight. Can you go and get them?" Mollie asked Christie. Christie and Christina head to the nearest store and buy the rubber bands and then head to Joe's Pub to give them to Mollie. When Christie and Christina arrive they ask Mollie if she needs anything else before they leave and she gives them two laminates so that they can help her get the merchandise ready.

After they finish getting the posters ready to sell - they leave the pub and head to Starbucks for cofee and to hang out.

8:15 pm Joe's Pub

They arrive back at the pub and are waiting for Jerry to arrive so that he can tell them where to set everything up and so he can see the posters that had been messed up during shipping. While we are waiting we see this guy walking up the steps and we didn't realize it was Joe until he looked up and said "Hey Mollie - how's it going?". He then looked at Christina and Christie and Mollie told Joe who they were. "Heyyyyy Girrrrl...How are you?." He said to Christina. She put her hand out to shake his hand and he pulled her into a hug. "Hey.....How's it going?" He said to Christie. She went to shake his hand and he pulled her into a hug. "Joe are you ready for the show?" Christina asked. "NOOOOO" He said in a sweet voice. "Thanks for helping out...." He said as he walked to his dressing room.

9:30 PM : Showtime

We got our seats with some of the most awesome girls there...lots of love to Christine, Johanna, Kim, Cali Kim, Annette, Shontell and Vicki! Well the lights went down low and Eman was on the stage strumming his guitar. Joe came out and the crowd went wild.

Here are some of the funny highlights of the show. Joe started off the show with "Stay the Same," and he hit every note perfectly. It was very impressive and he so was working the crowd with that. He also sang "ILYCTL" and added some commentary about how its a little wierd to be the first one to admit you love them because if its too soon they start acting wierd and stop calling! Then he blurts out "YOU BITCH!" Hum...he lso was giving Eman a lot of props for his album. Joe said that if he was Eman he would have a big head. He continued with well I do have a big head...literally and figuratively. It was too funny cause the crowd was like "hey!" Then he said "You guys are sick!" LOL Another funny part that happened was that a few fans were yelling "take it off, take it off!" Joe said something to the effect of "who said that?" Christine yelled at "It wasn't me!" Then Joe went into his mini version of Shaggy's "It wasn't me!" Joe also went into a spill about the drought in NYC. He was saying how we should share a shower with someone and pee in the sink. Everyone was like gross Joe and he said "what it all goes in the same drain....".

The show kicked ass! Joe and Eman are awesome together! The tour should kick major ass if they keep the same momentum going that they had this weekend!!!!

After the show:

After the show we went back to where they had the merchandise was set up to wait for Mollie. I was just so thrilled that i got to take a pic with Eman and Joe. It was too funny. When i was talking to eman he heard my accent and he asked me "Where are you from?" I told him Texas and he got this huge smile on his face and he went on to say "Thats awesome we are going to Texas...in fact we are going to dallas, austin and houston!" I am thinking to myself like I didn't know that already! He was too cute. He continued to tell me that "He hoped to definitely see me there." Then we took the picture and he said "texas baby!" That is why I have a huge grin on my face!

I asked Joe for a picture and he said "Sure honey!" The picture i took was cool too. Christie was taking the picture but she pulled the camera down to fast that it didn't take right. I was walking off because i know Joe was tired and wanted to get going, but he pulled me back and said "No let's take another one." I told him that I was sorry for this and as the picture was being taken he said "no its okay honey!" That is why he looks like he is saying something in the picture.

Joe has always been great to us and we respect him as an artist and performer! He went over and beyond the call of duty when he took pictures with us and hugged us! He took pics with everyone back there even though he was tired and wanted to leave!
